Little Rock City / Stone Fort is on private property. Use your best judgement and avoid any behavior that could compromise
our opportunity to climb there. Please abide by these rules which were set forth by the landowner
and encourage others to do the same. Your cooperation is very important for keeping LRC / Stone Fort open.
if you have questions or need assistance.
Rules and Guidelines:
Beginning July 1, 2010, Montlake will be making changes that will affect protocol and fees for visiting Stone Fort/LRC
Climbers will no longer need to pre-register on the SCC Website to park or climb.
However, ALL CLIMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN-IN AND PAY $3 DAY USE FEE UPON EACH VISIT.
Climbers will continue to sign a
Climbing Liability Waiver
on their first visit. The waiver will be kept on file at Montlake. This waiver will continue to be
available for download on the SCC Website and Montlake will also keep blank waivers available at the clubhouse.
There will no longer be a parking fee.
There will be an opportunity to purchase a year pass; the cost of the year pass will be $120.
The year passes will ‘run’ from July 1, 2010 until June 30, 2011. All year passes can be purchased at the Montlake
clubhouse and MUST BE PURCHASED BY JULY 1ST OF THIS YEAR. All climbers who purchase a year pass will still need
to ‘sign-in’ and display a photo id upon each visit. Year passes will be offered for purchase again in June/July 2011.
If you are interested in purchasing a year pass please visit the Montlake Clubhouse prior to July 1, 2010.
The fee for children 10 years and younger will be $1.
(The new price is more affordable than the previous rate ($5/car) for ‘lone boulderers’
……and the year pass will certainly reduce costs for local climbers who frequently visit the boulderfield.
If you visit Stone Fort/LRC more than 40 times a year (several folks visited more than 100 days in the past year)
then this should be a good option to consider.)
All other general rules for visiting Stone Fort/LRC will remain the same:
