http://vimeo.com/8267646 - this is Andrew Kornylak's Stone Fort video from 2009 Triple Crown. It's artistic, includes hard climbing and captures the camaraderie and excitement of the competition.
http://www.eider.tv/home.asp?l=2&idCat=61&idVideo=221 I repost this link because I bet many haven't seen it. It's footage of Tony Lamiche back when he visited the southeast several years ago. During his short visit, Tony sent all our hardest lines and installed several for himself- the most notable one being The Shield at Stone Fort. This video includes his first ascent of the Shield. beta from wes- I suggest going to the top right of the video, clicking options, changing the language to English and quality to high. Enjoy |

|
|
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM1dZyIHFOI
We took a break from Mother Nature's recent winter onslaught in Boone, NC to travel down to Rumbling Bald for some near-perfect sun-soaked bouldering. Pat Goodman showed up and quickly got to work sending a few of the area's classic problems, like the recently cleared "Karma Police" and the overhanging "Brackish Waters." Richard Burnett, one of the Bald's most well-known and knowledeable crushers, showed up just as the crew was about to leave and urged everyone to give the classic high-ball "Big Bully" a run for his money. After a few flash attempts that didn't go as planned, Richard stepped up and showed us all how to hang tight against the "Big Bully" and finish him off when it really counts, at the daunting mantel twenty feet off the deck.
Stop-motion intro is comprised of 1200 photos with music by The Stereo MC's "Connect."
Video of the problems shot & edited by Eric Crews with music by Pretty Lights "Short-Cut Detour" |

I remember Wes Powell's videos of the HP40 comp from back in the day being one of my all time favorites. Daniel Woods, Paul Robinson, and Ethan Pringle pulling down in a two part recap of comp day. Anyone have the link? Wes?
